  4.     According to federal prosecutors, the terrorist Japanese Red
  5. Army has one less soldier on active duty these days. A federal
  6. judge in Newark last week sentenced Yu Kikumura, 36, to 30 years
  7. in prison for possession of three pipe bombs and a false passport.
  8. A Japanese national, Kikumura was arrested last April on the New
  9. Jersey Turnpike by a state trooper, who says he saw the bombs in
  10. the back seat of his car. Prosecutors believe he intended to plant
  11. them in the New York City area in retaliation for the U.S. air raid
  12. on Libya. U.S. District Judge Alfred J. Lechner Jr. said the bombs,
  13. packed with black powder and lead shotgun pellets, "were intended
  14. for flesh and blood, not bricks and mortar."
